In 2006 Tony Blunt signed with Dpress Industries, becoming one of the main names on the label roster. He released the Black Series, causing a devastating storm effect within the dub techno community; a series of 3 eps in which he placed together the best of his Detroit techno and tech-house repertoire and featured remixes by the talents of Soultek, cv313, Pantha du Prince, Brian Aneurysm and Mikkel Metal. Now he's worked out 2 new tracks exploring his more minimal side, taking out the melodic components and the floating atmospheres. "Shouter" is a track which finds its place in the middle of his exploration for this new sound, combining classic elements and a more straight minimal techno feel. "Golden Lake" is the new form of his music, a funky electronic groove, a pulsating minimal mover. DJINXX aka Electronic Resistance, is a fine producer, bold jockey and gifted label owner. Owing to his latest EPs on Delsin or Ovum and thanks to the growing reputation of Mezzotinto, DJinxx' prolific production platform, the French musician is now at the top of his potential. His version of "Golden Lake" is a tasteful techno anthem, bringing hard groove back to the label; beautiful and perfect for the floor.
