Richie Hawtins 'A Night Like That Remix' sees the minimal don stretch the groove out over nearly 10 minutes, maintaining the pressure yet adding his trademark space and restraint.Richies mesmerizing 'A Dub Like That Remix' opts to submerge the original in deeper waters, punctuated by sharp snares and percussion that sound perfectly contemporary.Rounding off the EP is an interpretation by Octave One - a suitably fierce and funky slab of Detroit futurist techno with clattering percussion and a driving groove that winds the main refrain into a hypnotic mantra.
