Michael Lovatt, well known on the Dublin scene as a DJ and promoter at notorious club nights, such as Hospital and Push, but also for his wonderful live sets and guest djs sports at Bodyonic, Twisted Pepper, The Pod, Nice & Nasty, Life Festival and many more. Michael Lovatt has been producing and playing house and techno for over 20 years. Beyond Ireland he has performed in clubs and festivals in Greece, Switzerland, France and Germany.Lovatt is probably best known for his 2004 creation 'Elektrodouche' As Elektrodouche he ha sreleased music on Dublin Xpress, Queep Organic House, Melonsound and Toung master and alongside his Irish peers Corrugated Tunnel, Chymera, Aoife Nic Canna, Matador and Jay Riordan represent the latest wave of quality music makers from the emerald isle.The Walk ep is the more melodic housier side of his style. Club friendly, the lead track The Walk is a mix of electronica influences and smooth house vibes. Influenced by Four Tet, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 equally as much as it is influenced by classic house trax the ep is replete with a remix from Al Keegan, Dublin's hottest DJ and co-founder of Acii Tone records.Lovatt really does show of his extensive knowledge of house music as well as his studio production skill in what is a celebration of 4/4 beats and funky club grooves.
