He describes his DJ style as sexxquisite house. It is a hi-energy blend of a variety of house subgenres (vocal, disco, funky, progressive, tribal, tech, etc.) that is, above all, extremely sexy and danceable. His skills are impeccable, his selection is beautifully dynamic, the emotion it exudes is spell-bounding and the happiness it effects relentless. Standing at 6’8’’ (202 cm), he is one of the tallest DJ’s in business. Ever since the beginning, he has never stopped dancing. He begins his electronic journeys fifteen years ago, having become infatuated with early British and German electronic music. He dances his way around the raves and clubs in London, New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. His first DJ efforts are centered around Detroit techno. In 1997-98 he lands a Residency at the infamous minimal techno and electro club HD800 in Heidelberg/Mannheim, Germany. Parallel to his music, he pursues an academic career which leads him, as a Professor of Philosophy and Audio-Visual Arts, to design and teach the first course in American academic history that deals with the history and cultural theory of electronic dance music. His students call him ‘Dr DJ.’ Early years of the new millennium turn him back to his old love – house music. He becomes an after-hour Resident at OZ in New Orleans – one of the most famous circuit clubs in the world. In addition to the regular weekly events, he plays the notoriously decadent and beautiful OZ yearly events – Mardi Gras, Southern Decadence, Halloween and New Year’s. In the meantime, collaboration with the San Francisco-based promoter Euphoria Dreams brings about appearances in San Francisco, Miami and Orlando. The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina extends his European tour, during which he plays events in Belgrade, Berlin, Novi Sad, Prague, Zagreb, Varazdin, as well as Hong Kong. Currently, he focuses on his music production -- what he calls MY SEXXQUISITE HOUSE. He refers to his production style as New Orleans house, defined by driving groove elements, deep prominent funky bass, with a strict dance floor focus, covering the entire genre gamut.
