The project ?kreis zwei? started last summer 2008 after a cool bear at the zurich lake in urban location called ?rote fabrik? in the area kreis zwei ?wollyhood?. It became clear that Cooky is a good teacher having lot of experience in producing electronic music and Ajele a talented DJ. Since then they regularly meet for chat, exchange ideas and have been making music for the ritual and fun. The name "kreis zwei", they live in zurich?s citys region called ?kreis zwei? and it?s the place of our inspiration and birth of this musical adventure. Influenced by different music styles and cultures - from techno, house, chillout to soul, afro-beat and even hip hop. We want to produce beautiful challenging and communicative music. ??We play mainly electronic stuff and in our studio we use lots of analog gears. We love the warm sounds of the 80s synths as the Crumar Bit One or the Oberheim Matrix6 using it through analog and digital into our modern computer, that sound great. We rarely use virtual instruments "pure analog sounding" ? analog sounds as our fundamental basement and makes our music come to life. Each recording is unique, and we take lots of time for the sound design.?
