Kerkez Music is a new platform for quality underground dance music started up by Goran Kan aka Kerkez.After releasing records on various labels such as Primal Force, Soma, Minisketch, SAF Series, Flux Recordingsand other, starting a label of his own was the next logical perspective for this Macedonian talented DJand producer.Kerkez Music will mostly serve as Goran's personal disperser for his own works, whereby he is going tosuprice his fans occasionally with some phenomenal remixers.The debut release Kerkez ' Harmonia EP (KZM001) presents three original tunes, whereby the smartmelodic storytelling is the common feature for all three of them.The opening track 'Harmonia' is melodic and groovy straight forward houser, full of synth jamming along theelectronic baseline. The main synth texture which is twisting throughout the entire arrangement is enrichedby the sudden solo ' played modular themes that continue to tell the story to the end, forming an essentialmusical cut that stands out from all the loopy generic approach in the dance music these days.The second one 'Pimplam' is more podium rooted track, that lets the porkin drums to flow dynamically; thedeep chords are dropping in sequence with the trippy vocal snippet, and by adding the mysterious synth linein the breakdown, Kerkez creates a hypnotic groovy taster that could be drooped at any time during yourset.Finally the closing tune of the first release 'Rebirth' has a lot in common with the 1st track. Deep, moodysynth notes floating around by various electronic sequences in a very special harmonic theme; once thismood is going to get you hooked, you continue staying focused on the upcoming solo musical twists thatfollow throughout the track.Obviously Goran created a ''must have'' release, therefore a great introduction for Kerkez Music.The second release which is going to follow soon this summer is going to be a sampler of Goran's fist studioalbum with a remix of UK's techno maestro Mark Broom.
