Huashan Records' first release is 4 original tracks assembled by a collective of anonymous techno workers, Huashan Unit.The music is made in China using digital and analog metal boxes."There" is the tale of angry mountains in the storm."Ghost in the Piano" is a story of shadows singing songs of the other world."Synthes" is a medical dub to play in a doctor's waiting room."Huashan Hospital" is a what you hear when you're having brain surgery.Hua Shan Records is ran by Huashan Unit (Tzu Li), a native of the Shaanxi Province in China who migrated to Shanghai in 2007 to study computer engineering.Tzu had never set foot in a club before arriving to Shanghai but was always curious about music.One night a foreigner school mate took him down to the Shelter club where he discovered Techno and immediately started making research about this music and ways of creating it.It wasn't long before he produced his own tracks, studying structures from Detroit Techno legends and reading a lot about sound engineering while still partying in Shanghai to the sound of Void crew or Antidote.Tzu is naturally shy and quiet so HuaShan Records is his way to express his emotions and to share with the world his passion for underground electronic music, he made a vow to never deejay or play live because he can't face a crowd.Also because China never really had a scene for vinyl all the music will be available through digital stores and limited edition handmade cds available only on TaoBao.Huashan Record will focus on the new chinese electronic music scene, releasing young talents in techno, post-dubstep and experimental.http://soundcloud.com/huashanrecords Feedbacks :Orde Meikle (Slam/Soma Records) 4 nice traxMarco Bernardi (clone,creme,frustrated funk) full support on this one.
