Dj Puk’s second release on Aquavit Records, 6 AM, is a beautiful piece of minimal house and deep techno.The title track is inspired by that 6 AM moment, the sun is rising, Dj’s playing the last track; you know the feeling. Puk’s live and Dj companion through the last years, Renton (Smiley Fingers, Mazoom Lab) contributes with an even more stripped down version of the original, and if you’re a Dj going to the next club to continue the morning, Rentons remix is a perfect way to continue the dance.Last track, Layer, follows up in that typical spirit of deep and intelligent techno to be expected from Dj Puk, playful, with lots of sonic surprises.Enjoy this fine release.
