London based Non Music returns for its 3rd release presenting an original cut from one of the creative minds behind the label, Daniel Button featuring Ameena Ahmedi. Accompanying Daniel’s original are remixes from Zeitgeist and The Pushamann. ‘Taste of Your Tears’ is heavyset tech house built around a pulsing bass line and full bodied synth. Ameena’s serene vocal compliments the rock steady beats and accentuate its hypnotic qualities. Zeitgeist turn ‘TOYT’ into a driving deep houser by keep the original bass line intact and adding some hazy credentials to the synths. The energy is ramped up with layers of percussion and subtle pitch shifting on the vocal which is cut up into snippets and used to infectious effect. Completing the package Button’s label partner, The Pushamann, provides a stripped back remix utilising the blueprints of the original. The focus remains heavily on the throbbing bottom end and dreamy vocal. Taking the edge off the synth and employing clever use of reverb and echo on the vox ,The Pushamann turns ‘TOYT’ into dubbed out, early morning Tech House. Daniel Button’s first solo release on his burgeoning label proving he is one up and coming producer to take note of.
